"We are living in a material world and I am a material girl," were the words of Madonna back in 1985. Is this  a problem that we still deal with today?

We continue our second week of discussions on the American Dream, and the prevalent problem of materialism in our day and age. Do we have as people have undiagnosed problems with greed?
